Speakers are distorting already.

I got my sedan about 4 months ago, and both of my left speakers distort when the bass is anything above a -3. I was wondering if the dealer will replace them free of charge? Its the regular non bose setup.

We'll see. My car is at the dealer as we speak, since my front right speaker is distorting when I play it a little loud.

Well, update:

The dealer called and said they didn't have the speaker in stock but ordered it for me. So, I guess they are going to replace it. I just have to come back and they will replace it once in comes in.

might not be the speaker. I had the same problem with thr front drivers speaker and it turned out to be the head unit. Dealer replaced it free of charge.

Well, I finally had a chance to get the speaker replaced. They wrote down that the speaker (passenger side) had a short and so they ordered a new speaker and so far, it sounds like it is fixed. I highly doubt that there was a short but they did replaced it.
