What is the best deal you've made on a single part for your G?

I've got several really good bargains, but I think the best "deal" (market value vs. amount I paid vs. satisfaction received) I've made would have to be the 3.5 vlsd pumpkin from a 7k mile '06 Z that I got for $155, including shipping.

What's yours?

My best deal............

A friend of mine Craig Lieberman saw pictures of my
G35 coupe taken at last years Toys for Tots car show.
He noticed that I was using a Borla cat-back system.
Since he works for Magnaflow he called and let me
know that I needed one of his systems. Within two
weeks UPS delivered a new Magnaflow cat-back
system FREE........how's that for a deal??

Were you more happy with the Mag or the Borla? I'd rather pay for something I'm happy with than be stuck with a free piece of poo*. If you like it, then hell yeah, great deal!

*I'm not saying the mag exhaust is a piece of poo.

FYI.....This is my third exhaust system and I like it
better than Stillen or Borla. I would never install
anything I didn't like or that wasn't an "upgrade."

Mine best deal was my Stillen Exhaust, Stillen Intake, Tein CS Coilovers, ZR Shifter Laser Jammer. They all came on my car form the dealership and the guy who had the car before me had the parts installed at the dealer ship so they have no complaints when i come in for service. Plus I am still under warranty for 20k miles.

500 bucks to paint and install my kit, repair a dent from a boulder they through at the car (which came out looking new).......guess you get what you pay for, but for the price the car came out 95% perfect.....color matched about 90% right, and my rear bumper needs to be repainted and prep'd again (go go kenstyle replica)

Eclipse AVN 5495 (msrp$3k), two headrest monitors with wireless headphones (msrp$900), a second dvd player for oem nav spot (msrp$299), Boston G5 12" sub (msrp $400), ungo 2-way paging remote with lcd, window modules (msrp $400), Focal K2 front components and rear coax (msrp $1200), all 0ga wire and install parts for my two amps and everything else.

Total: $2400 out the door.

That's the best deal I have made as far as total savings. Everything else has been purchased in group buys or other similar deals for great prices.

update:

I just sold my stock diff for $250 shipped.

So I made $100 by swapping in a much newer, upgraded component.

Anybody else here make money by putting mods on their cars (without a sponsor or race winnings)???
