That is essentially how other ventilated seats work, although PC fans might not have enough torque to get the job done. I thought about doing this last summer, I'm going to try taking out one of my seats and see what the interior construction looks like. I have a feeling that getting through the foam might be the tricky part, and I'm not about to dismantle/destroy my coupe seats as an experiment.

Now if someone wanted to give me a set to tear apart...

My thought was that air could probably move through the perforated leather, but that you'd have to get through the foam somehow... I was thinking do something sort of like capillaries or something low-profile to avoid having to hack apart the cushion.

If I ever figure it out, I'll be sure to sell a ridiculously overpriced DIY kit online for all you guys to make me rich

i'd say some sort of perforated "cushion", slipped beneath the leather, run a low wide duct to the ventilation system and you get heated and cooled seats..
