hello everyone im new to this site and I'm wondering what I have to purchase (other then the actual navigation) to install a double din navigation. My car is an 05 coupe so yeah. please help me out! and do i really need an ac controller even though I have one in my car?

 

Yes, you do have to buy a ac controller. The stock radio and ac controller are all on one circuit board. If you take the radio out, the ac controller goes with it.

 

aw man. ok thanks do i need anything else? brackets or anything. and where can i get the ac controller that has the "dual" button' cuz the ones ive seen doesnt.

 

you will need the facia, ac controler, and bracket

 

You or your installer need to do a little soldering to keep dual zone climate. Check out the audio section of this forum, there is a lot of helpful info there as well.
