Satellite radio

To use PAC AAI-NIS2 the car needs to be satellite radio ready. I understand all 2006 are satellite radio ready, some just don't have the receiver installed. But when I look at some sites and auctions that sell PAC AAI-NIS2, it says the car needs to have SAT button on the radio to work and I don't have that. Is that an error on sellers part? I have a 2006 coupe with bose system and wondering if PAC AAI-NIS2 will work.

Correct me if I am wrong.

After reading the manual it seems that I can use PAC AAI-NIS2 and use the "RADIO" button to switch to AUX. And it will only work when I actually have the PAC AAI-NIS2 plugged in. Correct?

Yes that is correct, you use the Radio button to switch between the different SAT channels. It will only switch to SAT if you either have the PAC unit or if you had the SAT receiver installed.
