Question for everyone wid coupe???

not too be a dikk or nuttin but im new to g35, i bought mine at the end of summer, but why do ppl have skyline instead of infinity on the back????

trust me...nobody has "infinity" in the trunk...they have "INFINITI"

they have the SKYLINE badging because in japan, this car is called the nissan skyline...

cause they think its 'cool'... no point in that really. in japan its also a right hand drive... might as well go for the whole 'JDM' package right?

In japan there asking each other why does that skyline have infiniti on the back. People just want to be different. Plus they are basically the same car.

Not to mention Nissan is going to be marketing the Infiniti Badge in Japan soon. So as soon as that happens... everyone here in the states that did the swap wouldn't be "JDM" any longer

how much is the skyline logo? and it is hard to take off the infiniti logo without leavin marks, or i gotta take it into detailing???

^^^ Guess what i said doesn't matter to you. *Sigh* If you do it, you can just use a heat gun (hair dryer) and floss to remove it without scratching your paint. The badges usually come on a backing that will keep it straight... but it's up to you to position it correctly. It's pretty simple.

so i take a hair driver, point at the letter for few minutes, then use the string(from the floss) to get it off????

and i was thinking about just leaving the back flat.. or should i put skyline?? prolly not

yes. thats how you do it. then id give it a good wax after that.

leave it off.

the skyline looks gay when you have seats, stearing wheel, door plates, wheel covers, clock, and engine cover that say infiniti. change it all or leave it off.
