03 at sadan G35 i cant get any better than 6.2 0-60 why?

I keep trying and results are the same
6.2-6.3 0-60 and 1/4 14.9 -15.1 using g-tech and i know its accurate tested numkerous cars with it..

Whats wrong with my car?
I have CAI, body kit and that is it and my car is slower than factory g35 AT sadan is??
i mean people get flat 14's and 5.5 0-60 with some mods.....

UPDATE :
GUYS today i decided to mess around with my cold air intake system.
well,,,i didnt like the location at all where the filter was sitting. for sure it was geting dust in,,,second surface are of the filter itself seemed pretty small,,filter is about4 inches long and 6 wide...So i went to autozone,,picked up their K N type filter for 25 bucks,,name is PowerAdder,,,(never heard of it), i liked the design of it,,,its longer plus ,has opening on top where it also sucks air from,,,i cut pipe in half,,so filter sits now in the egine bay ,compared to under bumber before...instaled heat shield,,,,
First test results with G-tech,,,,
6.1 0-60 and 14.4 1/4 mile.........will do more tests tonight,,,
so for sure my 1/4 improved by almost half a second compared to previous filter setup...
i forgot to mention, i also cleaned my throttle body while i was at it,,,had some carbon deposits on it,,,,maybe this is also contributed to faster times?

Why would you think your car is any faster than a stock car just because you have a CAI. These cars are highly tuned out of the factory and you may have decreased performance by adding a CAI. Every car reacts differently to mods.

And don't trust a G-tech for 0-60 or 1/4 times. Go to a track and get an accurate reading. G-tech is not going to do it, it's in the ball park but not accurate to the tenth of second.

Plus there are a ton of other factors your not considering, weather, road, tires, altitude, engine warmed up, launch technique, driver, and on and on.

I believe that engine is tuned for regular. Get a spacer and dynotune/ECU flash or piggy back if you want more gains. Otherwise, you are probably running normal.

I am not positive to be honest. I read here or on another forum that is exactly what one sedan owner did. He said the improvement was noticeable.
I am not that familiar with all sedan years, models.
The coupe manual is very strong about using premium. Beyond just a recommendation, it says if you use lower octane fuel to switch over to premium as soon as possible. Does your manual say the same, or is it just a recommendation?
In either case, the plenum spacer should knock off a tenth.. it certainly feels better.

Premium has always been recommended for all US spec VQ30/VQ35/VQ40s. With a relatively high 10.X:1 compression and reverse coolant flow heads, these motors need higher octane to perform optimally. My 2003 G35 manual clearly states that 91 is recommended for optimum performance and that 87 is the lowest, but to expect reduced performance. Over at Maxima.org, guys have tested their Maxima VQ30s with 87 and 91 octane and the difference is about 12-15whp on a motor that only makes ~160-170whp stock. To me, that's pretty significant.

It is significant. And never ceases to amaze me that the premium fuel recommendation in the owner's manual is usually the only thing some owners argue about or don't follow. Go figure.
I read a similar test in the Nissan Sport publication where they found only a 1 mpg drop in mileage going from 91 to 87 in a Murano, but a 10% drop in whp.
Why anyone would not want to have their vehicle running with it's full potential on tap to save a few cents per gallon is strange IMO.
