3.00 for premium, that's a deal in the SF Bay Area, as regular is already over 3.00 around here

Gas prices are ridiculous here. I which Cali had higher octane gas. Could be it because of the demand in California and lower octane gas is cheaper to make?

correct. some cars will adjust timing to account for the higher fuel octane.
