mine just took a crap a couple of days ago. i was about to get out of my car, ejected a cd, but turned off the engine before it said to load another. now it makes a nasty 'trying to load another cd' noise everytime i start the car, yet it won't take another when i try <sigh> hope it's still under warranty.

yeah it seems that these cd players suck. So far mine hasn't taken a crap yet,but it does freeze up a lot,so I don't know if it just needs to be cleaned,or it's the actual cd player itself.

Sometimes it won't play the higher-number tracks but most of the times it will work just fine.

I found out the solutio nto this, and its very simple. Dont buy cheap cds. I stick to sony for burnt cds becasue the coating they use on their cds seems to be thicker and less transparent. I had some other cds which were purple from the bottom and see through, and they skipped all the time. They had a whte label on top, so stay away from tehm.

had mine replaced twice and the treble thing is pissin' me off. i scared the crap out of my wife turning past 20 the first time she rode with me after i found out about the treble glitch. the reason i'm not going DD is because we shelled out an extra 2k on the nav system (which is mediocre). oh well.

my cd player is always on and the only problem i've had is that once in a blue moon when i'm adjusting the volume the cd player will shut itself off and i can't turn it back on until i turn the car off and then back on. has only happened to me twice.
