nissan made way more sedans than coupes...therefore, they charge more for the coupe...

It really is your location, in so-cal I see about 5 coupes for every sedan. But if you check infiniti sales, the last numbers I remember were like 10,000 sedans sold and 5,000 coupes sold. I don't remember how long of a time period that was, but there are twice as many sedans out there than coupes.

If that responce bothered you, you appearently havent seen some of the flaming I have seen on this site...Just having some fun, you will notice I also responded to the actuality of the variation in material costs, and production. And since the sedan outsells the coupue 2/1 your take seems to be inacurate as well.

This is not just an infiniti thing. Look at a 335 coupe price versus a sedan. Then look at a convertable versus a coupe. as the buying pool decreases the price pushes. There are also some typical coupe/conv only adds to put a special touch to the lower production vehicle which also adds to the cost(such as the afore mentioned coupe seats).

Lighten up...have a laugh and dont take yourself or me that serious!

I started a thread asking this same question last year. There is only one right answer. Infiniti asks more for the sedan because people will pay it.

Doesn't this apply to most manufacturers? Accord, 3-series, sebring, etc...

The coupe has a different exhaust system no? I mean, stock it pushes more power, so there is some cost, and coupes just seem to always cost more, (look at audi and others)
