so far I've hit two tint shops. One quoted 275 for 35% Madico Onyx on all windows except the front windshield. The other quoted 245 for Solarguard (Ultra?) 35% on all windows except the front. Are these brands good? Are the quotes in line with what others are paying?

Is it neccesary to install some sort of lining (ie. moleskin)to prevent door seals or other internal parts of the door panel from scratching the tint?

I am finally getting tint installed on my G on Monday. I am going with 35% on all 5 windows and will be paying $228 taxes included.

 

250, discounted to 235. Opted for Llumar Charcoal 35% all around. I was also quoted 500 for 50% Huper. Now thats crazy.

 

150 for all windows except windshield 5%

 

That would be felt, and no. Honda / Acuras use a different type of seal that require that be added.

 

35% Madico Onyx everywhere except the front windshield. It should look elegant, and I feel that the odds of getting pulled over are slim. I'll post pics when it's done...probably by next weekend.

I can't wait to see Canuck's tint job too!

 

i paid $180 for 35% Llumar black/charcoal on all 4 windows and the back with a lifetime warranty. i would go darker execpt for state law in NC is 35% and i dont feel like hassling with it.
