It might have been posted,but I've been searching.I get the post with chinaman and his car,and they say to put the heat shield on before it gets warm. Fair enough I hope I can do that. So is there an install how to with pics laying around somewhere that I don't know about.I want to put the heat shield on,but now I know how to open up the striping now I just need to know how to put this thing on? I have all the brackets,but so far it's just in the car by itself. The combo sounds great though,really breathes well now.

 

hey I used this link to install my ztube and popcharger. Theres a part in the DIY that shows how the heatshield should look like when installed. Hope it helps.

Sweet thanks much,I mean I have an idea,but just need to figure out what to do with the support bars that come with it,and where they want it. I got directions for the popcharger and no ztube.

I had a few difficulties but hopefully you can learn from my pics.

 

In your one post,at the bottom bracket,what does that attach to? I tried and just did the one bracket on the oe air scoop,but it doesn't line up right each time I try.I will try and mess around with it tomorrow to tweak it. So far it's mostly going in there,there is a gap,but I will hopefully fix that. Would it be easier to take the air filter off,and then position the heatshield,without the strain of trying to fit it around the air filter,and then just adjust the air filter to sit in the heatshield?
