Does accident void warranty?

Does an accident Void warranty? It has clean title but not a clean car fax.
I have recently purchased a 04 coupe sport 6mt with 28k on it and it was in an accident where the hood radiator, core support and bumper and fender was replaced the only way you can really tell it has had any work on it at all is the typical tape/over spray mistakes on trim and some alignment off on bumper lines, very very slight though. The sell wrote it had remaining factory warranty on the sale paper work so ultimately I can hold them liable I believe. I don't want to do that because all over I have had the best experience buying from them then any other dealer I have dealt with. However I have started having a trany issue, and I'm worried about taking it in. If this issue was posted else where I did not find it on the search, but if you can point me there I will be grateful.

if the title of your thread is the question, then no an accident does not void the factory warranty.

Yes that is the question, I was told other wise by the seller, they stated to bring it to them and they would take it in since they do alot of buisness with them but to never do it my self because when they see the repairs and they could blacklist my VIN as out of warranty.

Thank you very much for your quik reply. I will give it a try reluctantly. I just dont have time to go all the way to tampa and Im close to the orlando dealer.

The only way (at least, I think) an accident would void the warranty is if the car was declared a total and then resold with a salvage title.
I wouldn't be telling the dealer that the car was in an accident when I took it in. IF there is a trans problem as a result of the accident the insurance company that paid the claim needs to make it right as "concealed damage".
Gotta wonder then based on the seller's statement just how shoddy of work they did to put the car together??Think about what they are telling you...

No it does not if the parts that are needing to be warrantied were not affected...

example...

customer states: gurgling sound from engine room while engine is on...

customer brings it to dealer to find that the body shop that repaired the front end of the car did not bleed the coolant system properly... customer pays the bill... customer more then welcome to bring the bill to body shop to get them to pay it but good luck with that...

That was my thinking about it, as far as parts if it wasn't replaced by the insurance company its still the dealers responsibility to fix it, I do believe the repair shop to be reputable, I read many good reviews on here be for I purchased about them and any thing I even question they have fixed as soon as I could drop by the shop to let them. I will post about my experience when I take it in, I'm gonna wait till it gets a little worse. it only grinds in second every once in a while, and locks me out of 1 and 2 when down shifting even if below 10 mph.
