Disappointment in the 08 causing a rush on the 03-07s??

There are obviously improvements to the overall package. Namely, more power and a stiffer chassis, if not the front end treatment.
I have an 06 coupe. I think the front clip on the 03-04 looks better. It's cleaner to my eyes.
The originals are often the best, though not always.
When we see this new car in person with a set of nice wheels and springs, it might look pretty sharp.
The new WRX? Yeah, that one might be ugly.

it's rhetorical..and no they screw up more than just letting dirty pictures out (pun)

Honestly, I don't think the pictures are doing this car justice. I found the new Sedan to look soooooo much better in person when I saw it for the first time than in the pictures I saw seen. Heck, even to this day I think the Sport wheels look merely mediocre in pictures...........while in person they are extremely nice.
I think alot of people's tune will change when they see it in person. We'll see I guess.
Well I do feel the same way as some of you guys, about holding final judgements untill you see it in person, but how much better can it really get. Dont get me wrong. I really hope me seeing it in person on Saturday will completely change my views on the car, especially being that this was going to be my next car, but I wont be surprised if it doesnt. As far as the 07 sedan goes. I personally didnt like the older one, and I though the improvements they did on the new one were incerdible. Mayb this is the reason why the 08 looks soo ugly to us. The older one was just too damn good looking.
well we all kinda new that it was gonna be very hard to top such a sexy car as ours but when the concept came out we thought that they had done it to me if they were smart they would have had stuck closer to the concept.
My service writer at Infiniti told me that due to the great incentives that are coming up for the 07 Coupe his dealership is trying to stock up on every Coupe that is available. His dealership just ordered 300 cars!
^ pretty ridiculous.
Im going to see the 08 coupe in person at the NY auto show. I will take a good look at it, but I will be hard pressed to think a car that I hate on pictures will look any better in person. I bought the 04 G by just looking at the pictures, never test drove.. completely paper shopping.Same story with the M Roadster. Why should the new coupe be any different.

I guess I'm in the minority. Although I love my '04, I also like what I'm seeing with the new car. If anybody out there cares to pick up a loaded '08, I'll be happy to trade you even-up. I've got just a little over 6,000 miles on the odo, and it still smells new.
Anybody??
Anybody??
I must admit, I was one of the first people to give my opinion (negative), about the new design and pics.......I'm still not a big fan of the styling.
To me, its just a down sized sedan......No offense sedan owners, your cars are stunning. But to me, the coupe was always unique style wise.....now the car seems to be right out of Infiniti's cookie cutter mold....they are all beginning to look alike.
GM doesn't make the Corvette look like their flagship Impala! Ford didn't make the new mustang look like their luxury four door. The Viper doesn't look like a 300C etc.....you catch me drift?
I hated the new series BMW's when they first arrived, but now after a year of so or seeing them on the road, they have grown on me considerably. I still like the older body style, but its just progression.
So, in closing, I think like it or not, the new coupe will eventually grow on all of us. Maybe not as likeable as the 1st generation, but nonetheless it will become more visible on the roads, and then they will become the norm.
I do feel the 1st generation coupes will definitely become more and more desireable......I still like the 90-93 RX7 better than the new design as well.
