Locking Gas Cap

So I went and bought a locking gas cap at Pep Boys and put it on. As soon as I put it on, I remembered when I was a kid, somebody showed my dad that all you need to do to take it off is press hard and turn. So I tried it and sure enough, the "locking" gas cap came off.

I'm wondering if there truly is a good locking gas cap out there. Suggestions?

Thanks!

Why would you need one if your filler door locks along with your doors?

You're kidding me right - do you know how easy it is to pry the gas door open?

i can understand the need for this. althought it may not fully stop people from stealing gas, it will deter more peolpe than not.

my friend's dad has had gas stolen from his truck 2 times this calender year alone.
