Nissan didnt change the G37 sport bumper from all the whining, so I doubt they will pay any attention to this poll.
Either way, im sure Nissan will do whatever it already has planned. If they have planned a G37 Sedan, im sure we will hear about it soon.
I think it would only make sense to make a G37 Sedan; BMW obviously did not leave the 335 exclusively for the coupe... so why should Infiniti?
I think its only a matter of time.

I don't expect to change Nissan's mind, I would just like to see where people's thoughts are...

If they don't put the new engine in the sedan at some point or do some sort of change then they are going to lose their market share in the sedan arena. Then guess what happens - their sales drop and then the problems come. I don't get what the hell all the coupe bigots think they should have a different engine. Every other car that the G competes with has a sedan that you can have the same as the coupe version. Infiniti is beyond stupid if they don't stay with that.

I believe you are on to something. I expect to see not only the 3.7 liter in the sedan at some point but also AWD for the coupe. While that's a whole different topic, I believe it's just a matter of time.

Have you noticed the difference between the old infiniti commercials and the new ones? They used to say in the end, "The G35."
They're doing the same thing except now they say "The G." There is a reason for that. I believe they want to promote the model and style, and get away from the number...representational of the liter (3.5 = 35), especially since they are going to put the 3.7 liter in eventually.
Of course...this could all be wishful thinking...but they are not dummies when it comes to marketing.

It would be stupid for Nissan to have two different production engines in the same car that are so close to eachother, it's more cost effective to just use the same one. if it were a 2.7 and a 3.7 then it would be smart, but to have a 3.5 and 3.7 is dumb.
