Charleston Tint and Clear Bra?
I just got my '07 coupe in IP after totaling my '04 coupe
. I need recommendations on a place to have my tint done and a clear bra put on. I'm in Charleston, SC. Also what would look better on IP, a reflective tint or a black tint? I'll probably be going 35%.

I am a huge fan of huperoptik tint. It's an all ceramic tint - which will eliminate any potential interference with your electronics (cell phone, radar detector, gps) - and has better heat rejection. I had it installed on my Q on all of the side windows and rear window. On the G we had to use a metalized tint on the back glass due to the curvature of the glass at the edges. I'm not sure if there's an installer in Charleston - I don't think there was when I researched it. The closest I found was Coastal Tinting in Myrtle Beach. It's pricy at somewhere between $200-300, but I am very impressed with the tint and the installers - if you use them tell Matt I recommended him.

Looking back at my old email, I found that this place was a distributor - but I'm not sure why I didn't use them. It's sure an easier drive from Columbia. Maybe they said they only used the Huper in residential applications.
