Oil Change ?

If i don't change my oil every 3 months will this void my warranty? I use my car only on the weekends and put about 1,000 miles in 3 months. Should i be changing at 3,000 miles or every 3 months. I use regular oil from the dealer not synthetic.

3,000 miles is what matters.

Yup, just change it at 3K. Every 9 months is perfectly fine.

With my pickup, which gets about 4K/year, I just do it about every 6 months.

Drive it on the highway every now and then to help keep moisture from building up in the engine oil, and you should be safe.

too bad for you, because you're not taking advantage of Infiniti's engine replacement program. ..
You get a new engine every 3000 miles under typical driving conditions with the 06 6mt..

i think im going to switch to synthetic...im soooo pissed im not sure if this is normal i check my oil and it seems to be 1/8 of an inch from the full line...im assuming with all the oil consumtion issues this isnt really a problem

I think that this is normal. When car was new and three subsequent changes from the dealer have all registered slightly below the full mark on the stick. Believe I saw a post a while back that also mentioned this.
