Affect of g37 on g35's.

Here's the thing though. The longer you wait to try and hold out for a better price, the lower your chances of getting the car you want. It's a tradeoff however you look at it. If you happen to find exactly what you're looking for then kudos to you. Otherwise, good luck finding exactly what you want in about a month. You guys aren't the only ones trying to hold out for a super deal. I'm shocked at how many '07 Coupes you guys claim your local retailers have in stock. I work at Infiniti of Honolulu and I'll tell you that we don't have many left at all (something like 8 5ATs and 7 6MTs). I can pretty much guarantee that we'll have sold close to all of these cars by the time mid-August rolls around. I mean heck, we were able to move a Serengetti 6MT about a week ago, and we all know how popular Serengetti Coupes are. LOL.

Actually the G35's should actually drop in price with the 37's and Altima coupes coming out this summer. I have very reliable sources that have told me this, plus I am eventually going to look for a 35 also, hopefully...thats my #1 choice if i can find the right deal. Just like any car thats holds its value for a period of time, its eventually gonna have to come down...as for the sedans, they are already kind of cheap compared to the coupe.

I hope this ends up like the Jaguar XKE's in the sixties. The series one had the smallest engine of all, but the glassed in headlights and sportier seats made it the end all in that line. The series 2's when released with a bigger 12 cylinder engine was slower and uglier, but hey it was newer right? Now you are hard pressed to find any XKE for sale, let alone a series one.

It should not affect resale value of the G35 period. However it should cause 07s to be sold at a cheaper price the closer we get to G37 release. I mean, all those pre-orders should be G35 sales don't you think? The sticker won't be cheaper but dealers will be more willing to get you a better price on a G35c

You may be thinking that brand new model means that Infiniti has some out with a completely different car and calling it the new... X35 or something... but brand new models are known as next generation.
