I think Comptech would be to Honda like Nismo is to Nissan.

 

It's close though... it's just that Mugen is not Honda-owned. Stillen is close because Steve used to race for Nissan.

Comptech does for Honda pretty much the same that Stillen does though.

Nismo is to Nissan/Infiniti like AMG is to Benz I suppose... and Kleemann would be the Stillen/Mugen equivalent.

 

honda sells mugen modified cars. nissan sold stillen 300zx. that's where i get my basis from.

 

Comptech is covered under warranty though. Is stillen covered as well?

 

I love analogies. Reminds me of the SATs and Conan O'Brien. +1 for Stillen.

Why? Mugen is damn near part of Honda, albeit a bit further away than Nismo is to Nissan. r
Comptech and Stillen, while oft times dealer supported, don't have the innate connection with engineers at either Mugen or Nismo, even if it is close.
Just my 2cents.

 

I agree, mugen's founder is Honda's founder's son, they are pretty much one and the same like Nismo and Nissan are.

 

I would say Stillen or Jim Wolf.
Both SPECIALIZE in Nissan/Infiniti and not Nissan owned.

Mugen/SPOON own the Honda world, from style to performance.
