Some Class to G Dash

Here are some pics of my 05 G35X with the Sherwood dash kit.
I find the OEM aluminium dash pieces way too bright in sunlight. Very distracting. Originally I was planning to go with carbon fiber, but it is a bit too racy for me. The warm wood tones a bit too gaudy. The gray Ash burl is a good balance and fits in nicely with the charcoal interior.
I got the 2233, 21 piece kit. I only used the pieces that covers the shiny aluminum trims and the door switch panels. That is enough wood for me.

Looks clean. Like you, I definitely wouldn't use all of the pieces from a dash kit. It's overkill....

does your camera have a MACRO setting? if so switch to that mode and take some more pics.. Those are not the best pics.. I think it could look good. I just need better pics.

Thanks guys!
The flash pictures does not show it very well. Looks lighter than it is in the pics, as you can see compare to the charcoal carpets. The dash looks better in person. Sure, the dash would look even nicer with bigger swirl burl pattens and a shade darker, but oh well, at least it eliminated the bright aluminum glare and scratches. The dash look pretty hot under low illumination, especially at night when it is lit by the white LED interior lights I installed.

more pics

Under natural overcast light with no flash. Shows the dash kit much better.
