Bluetooth Problem

Hello everyone. Proud new owner of a 2007 Lakeshore Slate G35X with Navi. Absolutely love the car but having a Bluetooth problem. My cell is paired successfully but when I make a call, there is a delay after connection where I can't hear the other person for a couple seconds. For example if I call my answering machine at home I miss the first few words of the message. Any thoughts or do I need to take this in for service? Thanks

It might be the phone. My Samsung goes crazy every once in a while and makes the paired devices ring. Both headset and G35 Bluetooth are affected.

I would try pairing the phone with another car at the dealer.

Yeah my Samsung is pretty much terrible as well. I get constant random ringing.
As far as Bluetooth goes, well it's still not a perfect technology. There are a lot of glitches associated with Bluetooth still.

Well, I can go without the Bluetooth. Don't use the phone much in the car. But it is a nice feature. It worked perfectly with my 2004 Acura TL. I like this car much better, so far, this is the only negative.

How long have you had it? Be as specific as possible... usually Motorola and Sony Ericsson phones do real well with bluetooth car systems from the factory.

I've had the phone for about 1 year.

If its been within a year and hope that it is, call T-Mobile's customer care and tell them your phone has been acting up and the only way to do anything is to take out the battery. They'll send you another phone and the new phone will have updated firmware in it. It might or might not help but worth a shot. Usually newer firmware addresses small issues which may help you to pair your phone with the car.
