0-60mph? How about 0-70mph?

I know a lot of people here are hung up on 0-60mph times. I have no way of measuring that metric in my car, so I have no idea how fast my 0-60 is. But I did notice something recently.

At my last trip to the drag strip, I noticed that I'm shifting into 3d gear about 10 feet past the 330ft mark. With my tires, 2nd gear tops out at 71.1mph, so let's call it 70mph. Now when I look at my timeslips, my best run shows I'm hitting the 330 foot mark in 5.738 seconds.

So that means my car is capable of going from 0 to 70mph in 5.7 seconds. Of course that's after all my mods and on drag radials, but not too shabby either.

Cipher has a performance option, you can set the speed to measure to. Of course this means your speedo needs to be correct.

Cool. I've been thinking about the cipher. Thanks for the heads-up.
