bare metal = rust

having painted calipers has absolutely no effect on the performance of the brakes. painting them is for looks and protection from any corrosion. check out some of the big brake kits for sale on this site. they are all painted.

The poll should include silver as a choice. My car is silver and I painted silver. I agree about either painting making them black or silver to blend in. Red looks cheap on a stock caliper, but hot on brembo's. (.2 cents)

The stock calipers are silver but to get the brake dust off em is a bich. I currently have my stocks painted red and they look imo. I'm thinking of painting them either silver or black leaving red out as on option. I think silver looks pretty good and black hides them. So i'm really debating between black or silver at this point
