Caliper Paint

I'm putting on the 06 calipers and wanted to know if I should paint them or not. My current ones are red. The RB rotors are coated black, so I'm thinking about painting the calipers the same color. Or should I go back to red?

Putting color on your calipers........

Painting calipers should have some bearing on what you're doing elsewhere on
the car. My coupe is TB so that's what I painted my calipers. Underhood
my engine cover and strut bar are painted TB and everything else w/b polished. I'm not into colored hoses, don't want to bring attention to them.
Installing my catch can this weekend and the hoses will be black regardless of
what the kit comes with.......my 2 cents & my theme!

you guys talking about painting the stock calipers? unless they are Brembo, it will look too much like a civic if you went red i think..

BS G, then silver calipers. that is what I did when I upgraded to Stoptech drilled rotors, SS lines and Endless Vita Nuova pads. keep the theme of the car. too many different colors does not look good, imho.

Just wondering will there be any effect on the cooling issue ? I mean bare metal+cooler air flow past it will cool it down better than if you have a painted surface. Will this cause brake to wear faster? Again just wondering.

Don't paint them, they will just look like painted stock calipers. They don't need any attention drawn to them.
