Another Hood Hinge bending problem
Not looking for any solutions. I have already purchased two new hood hinges from Tony @ riverside.
I have an 03' coupe. My passenger side hood hinge has bent to the point that it takes two people to open the hood. The passenger side sits about 1/4 lower then the drivers side. SUX!
Anyway, will spend my time removing my fenders and replacing both hinges. I figured as long as I was at it I might as well replace both.
I can't believe the hood hinges BEND! WTF??? I have owned about a bazzilion cars in my life. I have NEVER had a hood hinge bend. Oh well....
I just wanted to post so that others would be warned/alerted... LUBRICATE YOUR HINGES.. that is all.

do you have to take the fender off? (i think dont hold me to it) i think that you can just take the cowl off its only a couple clips and take your wipers off and you can get to the bolts. i do it at work all the time i will have to go outside and look at my car.

It would be fantastic if I didn't have to remove the fender. Reading previous post I assumed I had to. I'll def check out if I can get to the bolts w/o removing the fender.
