bose sound

i just got the qx4, the bose sound system sucks in it. the deck is broken , if i replace with aftermarket, should i remove the bose amp too? or should i figure out how to use it?

I doubt you can use the Bose amps, they probably use a stupid proprietary connector. You're better going all after market anyway.

well they sell bose wiring harnes. i want to use that, to hook up to new deck, and use old wiring. question is how to do i keep the steering wheel controls?


I know PAC makes a few things, but i dont think they work with aftermarket decks.

okay little update, i got the Harness, everything installed.. all 4 speakers and tweeters work fine. but the vol. is very low!! i thought it was the deck.. so i replaced it 3 times JVC, Panasonic, sony ... didnt change anything. i guess the amp is killing it. any suggestions
/
