Air bag warning light diagnosis?

My air bag warning light has been blinking for a few weeks now. So there is a problem somewhere within my air bag system, but where. Is there any way I can diagnose where the problem is so I dont have to go ripping through the whole system. I think I read somewhere that if the light is blinking it means there is a problem with the front passenger air bag, is this true?

you may have a bad airbag, or it may be from a disconnected wire in the dash... do you have an aftermarket stereo?

it is under warranty...

I'm not sure, I bought the car used but I'm pretty sure there is another year of warranty left. I was kinda hoping to get an idea of the problem so maybe I could take care of it my self. There isn't an infinity dealership in my town, we have everything else though. I guess I could take it to Nissan...

EDIT: no aftermarket stereo

The one I would go to is about 2 hours away. I used to go to school there (NC State) so I have a bunch of friends in that area. I guess the next weekend I go visit I could take it to infinity.

A loaner car is always nice... I guess I'll make a trip up there to see some friends soon.

On another car I had my air bag light on, it was a bad sensor.

But also realize that if the air bag light is on then the bags are disabled, to prevent a unwarranted deployment.

I just took my G in today for the same problem. Said it was the sensor as everyone else here had. Shouldn't sensors should be more durable, since they seem to be the first thing to take the impact of a crash? Oh well, I hope I'll never have to use them :P
