HVAC help, Please

I just noticed that the heater in my car puts out heat while the car is moving, but no heat when the car is idling. I have also just noticed that my air conditioning is not working either. While they may not be related and I really don't use the AC much during the winter in the Northwest, it keeps the windows from fogging up. Can anyone please help me with possible causes?

Thanks

After some looking at....the first thought was water pump and now since I have taken a look at the situation a little closer I am thinking maybe slipping belt since they(air conditioner compressor and water pump) both operate off the same belt. ???????????? Sound reasonable?

The heater is an air pocket in the heater core.

I checked the coolant. I seemed a bit low but not excessive.

Are you saying there is an air pocket in the heater core? How do I resolve that issue or does it just work itself out?
