Changed oil...fells slugish

Alright, so i changed my oil wed., used M1 5w-30(synthetic) and M1 108 oil filter, I put in 5 quarts(maybe a lil more cause i spilled some so i used a 6th bottle), and i swear its slower. It just feels sooooo slugish, and isn't pulling as hard as usual. Has anyone else ever experienced this. I know its not just in my head!

I think I know what you mean, and its in your head bro. When I do mine, my mind wants me to think that I did something wrong so I find any little thing to blame. You think its slower, I think it's all in your head.

its actually really bad to add too much oil, its like shoving oil into too tight of an area and the internals cant move. Check your oil, sypphon some out if needed. Ive read some stories on my 350z about this, not good.

it might have been a bit over filled... when i do oil changes i put in 5 qts and dont think much of it.... any more and it will decrease the performance of your motor!

5qts with oil filter change. Something like 4.7qts if you dont change oil filter.

5 qts is the number I've seen most often. Works for me
