Does G37 make the G35 seem like "OUTDATED"?
I just got my G35. Now whenever I see a G37 on the road, I feel outdated... like as if I'm driving a old model. I love the G35 and like the look as much as I do for the G37. But do you guys think the G37 make the G35 seem outdated on the street or in the market?

The G35 is still fresh IMHO, but not when its parked next to a G37, though the G35 is still sexy to look at. I think the G37's profile and stance, though similar, is more muscular.

The G37 definitely looks more current than the G35...but like it was mentioned befored, the G35 has different lines than the G37. I think the G35 looks sportier than the G37 but the G37 looks more luxurious.
The G37 has more power, and a bigger motor, but interior of the G37 spanks the G35 hands down. The seats are incredible and the creature comforts and the technology are better (if fully loaded). The G37 has a stiffer chassis than the G35...no question. Its the newer model...if it wasn't better then why would they make it??? **Keep in mind my comparisons are stock versus stock**
At least its not as big a difference as like a C55 to a C63 or from the old M3 to the new M3.

Who wants an old car? People who admire the original VQ35, people who collect old cars i.e. AE86, R33 and R34, S13, FC3S. shall I go on? IMO, the G35 will be an icon and a classic in time- it's the first "Skyline" with the VQ platform.
Some people have paid off their G's and may not wanna pay for a new G37 which can still use some refinement in their opinion. SOme folks have invested a lotta money into their current G's which probably outpower the G37. Some maybe saving up for a BIGGER upgrade like an M3 or possibly a GT-R, like my neighbor.
I can't agree with your comments about the G35 looking RETARDED and being an OLD CAR...but it is your opinion so "to each their own".... After all, next year you TOO will have the OLD CAR homie!

BTW, I love my G35 SEDAN!

I agree that G35 still looks modern, it's got a classy sporty look that's not in the G37. G37 looks less of a sports car, more like a passenger coupe. I like all around look of G35, other than interior. I could see these cars as 2 different lines. I guess the fact that it's a newer model replacing the G35, it makes my car seem less current.

I like how the G35 coupe looks over the G37, and that's coming from someone who is seriously considering both cars to buy in the spring. I have the funds for either, just no mod money left if I get the G37.
But without a doubt, the G35 is a dated car in terms of technology and creature comforts. Nevertheless I love the way it looks and I think that's all that matters. There are people driving really old cars that are still happy with them, it's all about perspective; if you always want the newest and best then of course you won't be happy with an old model car.
When I see a G37 on the road do I think I wish I had one? Not really, I think it's an ugly looking car. Do I wish I had the interior and technological refinements? Absolutely.
