Does G37 make the G35 seem like "OUTDATED"?

eh....no need to feel inferior just because you have an "older" car.... just drive and enjoy what you have. The manufacturers want you to feel like yours is dated and "old", so they can sell you the "new" stuff...Don't fall for it!! hehe...

Are you serious? The interior is the one area I can say without a doubt was an improvement. Overall ergonomics, material, fit and finish, NVH were all vastly improved IMO. I went from an 04 G35C to the G37 and it was the interior that looked dated in the 04 more than anything.

Very well said.

G37 is way better. and yes the Old G35 cars looks like a Bug to me.
Lol thats like when i first saw the G37 and how much they exaggerated the lines in the front leading to the headlights and I said it looked like a buick.

I think one big reason many forum members feel that the G35 is still better or just as good is because...well...look at everyone's signatures. Most of the people don't have just stock coupes. I can definitely say a brand new fully loaded stock G37 coupe versus my car the way it is with everything....I choose my car.

But once again...Stock 07 G35 Coupe Loaded versus a Stock 08 G37 Coupe Loaded, without a second thought the G37 coupe.

I had my G35 Coupe & Now have the G37S Coupe.. at first I thought the G37 was ugly... but now, especially when I look at it & a G35 Coupe, I do see the G35 looking dated. I absolutely love the G37S looks now that I've had the car for 1 month... I've loved it ever since I saw it in person. To me, yes the G35 Coupe looks dated, but it is still HOT!

I think they are both great looking cars. I like the front end of my 08 better than the front of my 06. I like the rear of my 06 better than the rear of my 08. But, I like them both anyway -- looks wise.

Apart from looks, the G37 hands down is the better car. My favorite improvement is the 40% stiffer chassis/body. Bodyflex in my 2006 was driving me insane. Second favorite improvement is the removal of the dual mass flywheel (both my Gs are/were 6mt) and higher redline/smoother engine. Then after that, touch screen navi + ipod and overall nicer interior is my third favorite improvement. Fourth favorite (and I'll stop here) is quieter ride/interior isolation... it used to drive me crazy that my 06 was louder than the $18k mitsubishi galant I had before.... and I'm not talking about engine loud... I'm talking about tire roar, road seam noise, wind noise, etc. My 08 is finally quieter than my old sedan haha!

I'd almost agree about the g37 w/ a g35 body... except I never cared for the front of my old car. That's not really relevant tho, because no automaker is going to release a 2nd generation car that looks identical to the first... that would be financial suicide.

I hope whoever has my 06 coupe 6mt is enjoying how well I took care of that damn OB paint!

after seeing the G37 in pictures it doesnt look attractive, but after seeing one in person, changes the whole look, looks 100x better.

I still like the g35 look more .. the g37 looks like the new sedan with 2 doors.. I'm not sure if that's a bad thing, but whenever I see a G37 drive by or parked, I think it's a sedan, and am not very impressed until I see that it only has 2 doors. I don't really dig the grill, how they made it shorter but fatter

G37 looks like the Toyota Solaro

G35 looks like nothing else on the road that came before it.

I will agree the G37 interior is amazing but I car more about how the outside looks personally.

Is it just me or does the G37 look huge compared to the G35?

I boought my 05 coupe new,,, and i still love it. I dont know why But the newer G37 isnt making me jealous at all. I like it dont get me wrong. but im just not feeling the new styling all the way around. I bought My Coupe purley on looks believe it or not. You looking at a guy who was driving a silverado truck and went to a Coupe... i wanted a pontiac GTP Coupe and saw the G35 one day and it was all over after that... two weeksn later i had my own in my garage. Im still in love with my baby... and when i park it,,, i never fail to look back as i walk away... Maybe in a few more years afte a little changes here and there i might want a change but for now,,, outdate NOT!!

I think it's just that G37 has a wider body.

That's the first thing I noticed from those comparison shots too. I've yet to see a G37 in person, but the G35 is already a gigantic coupe I can't believe it still got so so much bigger!
