my decision has been made I am getting a g35coupe I have done so much research so please dont tell me to search!!! Ok I have heard many negative stories of the coupe including bad paint tranny tire wear and mystery noises please tell all that u of a 2006 g35 coupe 6 speed I need all the good and all the bad thank u

 

the paint does suck... the tranny is very chattery... and the front tire feathering does eat the inside of the tires...

Search and you will see that this is a serious problem. Goes through a quart about every 3000 miles. Just need to be careful.

 

The '06 has the RevUp engine which is prone to oil useage but covered by
Nissan if it occurs. The paint isn't too bad especially if you keep a good coat
of wax on it! The chatter they hear from the tranny is probably the throwout
bearing which is also covered by warranty. If you have doubts about the G
just purchase an extended warranty and enjoy one of the best cars on the
planet.... (warranty should be Nissan only)

 

yes there are G's that have this problem but NOT EVERY G DOES... i have a rev-up 6MT with no oil problems at all

if every G did have the problem there would be a major recall...

 

Ok, you got me on a technicality. NOT EVERY G DOES have this problem but as Gary C stated this is a Rev-up motor which is P R O N E to oil consumption. Maybe you're the exception not the rule.

 

I don't have any oil use issues on my 07, but the paint does seem soft.

 

Every car is going to have major pros and cons..
