Guys,
I am new to this forum and have been checking out some postings on deals that many people are getting for their G35 coupe. I am going to test drive an 06 tomorrow in Chicago with a selling price of $26,966. The car has 11,439 miles on it. Do you think that this is a good deal? I can afford to pay 30,000 for the car but I dont want to, I really dont wanna spend the 26,966 without it including ext warranty and tax, title, etc... . I wanna talk the dealer down to $24,966 if I can. I am buying this from an Infiniti dealer. I have my own financing, carrying the blank check to the lot.
There is a Red 06 manual with 10,000 miles listing at $25,995. For sure i can use this against the dealer for a better price. I would pursue this car but i dont want a red car.
I am debating between the 05 and 06. Are there any visible differences between the cars besides the bluetooth and the spoiler?

Looks like a steal! Just get a CarFax and service records. If everything is all set then I'd take it.

That's a pretty good price for an 06 with that low miles.Like Hi-Tech said just get a history report on it.
Thanks guys,
Couple of more questions. Here is the red G35 coupe that i was talking about in my first post. http://starturl.com/oloea What do you guys think about it? Should i go white or red?
Last, do you think it's a fair deal if I told the dealer $26,966 for everything tax, title, and ext warranty on the white G35? To me, that's a fair deal especially after the dealer told me the car was on the lot for over 90 days. He said it is was the biggest markdown he could do over the phone and he also said the car was a HH car. His explanation of HH is that it was on the lot for over 90 days. A car on the lot for 90 days needs to be sold. Is $26,966 reasonable for everything? The car doesnt come with a spoiler or navigation

I would go with the Ip G, you could try asking them for 26,966 OTD, but I don't think they'll take it.I think they'll be willing to negotiate that with you.You could always have an oem spoiler installed, and navi too.Originally Posted by ajwade

first... dont buy a red car if you dont like red.
i hate red and would never consider buying red.
and i dont know.. if it was me personally.. and i could afford $30K on a G purchase.. i would be buying 07+

Bith of those cars sound like great deals... very low milage too. But the condition of the cars is going to really determine if they're really worth the money or not
I am now a proud owner of the Ivory Perl G35 coupe. The Dealer wouldnt budge on lowering the price though (BS). But i am happy, i basically got a brand new car for 28K. It is a beauty.
I picked up my friend for lunch in CHicago and I guest all of her co-workers were like damn nice car, WHO WAS THAT!!! Anyway i am excited about this car.
SOB is fast. I havent been able to make the wheels squeal yet but i will try tonight.
Is the REV light always suppose to be on?

Yea, that REV will always be on. You'll see that underneath it is a small rectangle, and that's the rev light beebo is talking about.Originally Posted by ajwade
