It does matter.
All of Nissans are FWD with a completly different chassis except the 350z and the GTR. An Infiniti is a RWD or AWD LONGITUDINAL and there is a difference and it does matter.

That's why I went from a Maxima to a G35 because FWD Maximas suck and I wanted Right Wheel Drive

^ Open your hood and look at the VIN ID plate... it says Nissan. Bottom line, Infiniti=Nissan.

FWD is wrong wheel drive. Rear wheel drive is right wheel drive.

So are you implying that infiniti never made a front wheel drive car? I think you need to do a little bit more research. Nissan made other rwd/awd cars other than the 350z and gtr. The infiniti g20=fwd.
