Help me convince my parents to buy a G35

Hey guys. I want to buy a 2005 G35 coupe in place of the 08 corolla my parents got for me.

I'm currently looking at a $20,895 G35 coupe, 2005, 26,000 miles. I would be paying him back the difference from the trade-in to g35 cost. I have a couple good points, safer, same reliabilty rating, etc. It also seems that parts are cheaper for it too.

Can you help me find some more arguements to convince him to let me get it? Thanks in advance.

+1 ^ Word! If your parents are buying it, then you have to settle for what they give you.

If your parents are buying you the car, then they decide whats best for you.

I am buying it myself. I'm paying back my parents. I would be paying around 7,000 dollars over 3 or 4 years.

try hard in school? get a job? prove to them in any way that you are responsible enough to own a machine like this.

+A lot.
It doesn't matter that you're paying them the difference, the only way you have a right to it, is if they take back the Corolla, and you pay for the G from scratch. And quite frankly, you should keep the Corolla. You don't know how expensive these cars are to own and maintain until you've actually owned one. If you're a student, you DEFINITELY can't afford it.

I have about 3,000 saved up from the last year, I'm about to be an Eagle Scout, and my sister was in a swimming program which cost a couple thousand a year for 3 years, so I think I deserve sometihng. I also have 2 jobs. I'm also going to a good college next year for buisness.

The only arguement my Dad has is that I'm gonna need money for college, but I was never a big spender and a bunch of kids are buying cars after their first year, like a 2006 Acura TSX. I would be paying around 140 a month. Right now I am making about 1,000 per month.

I do drink, a lot. My parents don't know though, besides my clothes smelling from the beer that I sweat off but I usually wash those before they ever see them.

Do you mean stop drinking to prove that I'm responsible?

You have a sick car btw, black on black looks sick
