the stoooopidest thing i've done (so far).....i've had my car all of 2 days and take it on a road trip to Oklahoma to visit friends in a small town...I mean really small...Watonga, OK...look it up...I dont even have a tag yet...just the temporary paper deal..so we hop in and i take some folks for a joy ride. Get it on a straight away on a 2 lane country road (140mph...damn i love this car!!) come back into town, lay some more rubber, just f***ing around...(the most expensive things about owning a G35 are tires and tickets!) ...I make a left had turn (read left hand burn out) off the main road to head back to my friends house and bam!! the entire police farce (all 3 of them) are waiting on me...Did I mention Im half asian???...next thing i know, im outta the car, being called "boy" rather than "sir"...you know the drill...Did I mention Im half asian??? my car was almost impounded and i was instructed by the sheriff to pack my sh*t up and leave town the next day....I later heard that i was in the paper...funny now, scarey as hell then.

well this stupid thing wasnt supposed to happen but i was at the drive thru and the boii was driving my G and he forgot his debit card and he couldnt back up and he didnt know that thier was a lil island well he hops on that wall and scrapes the s*** out of my car and exhaust and almost got stuck yea horrible feeling...good thing the car wasnt lowerd yet or we def would have gotten stuck and yea i would have been even more pist .

 

This just happen recently in NFS underground. My friend with a tsx did all this breather mods, intake, exhaust, headers, cats, etc... still slow. But wanted to have a go at me so much. I didn't want race him cause gas prices was still high, and I'm always paranoid of cops since i got so many damn tickets for tints and crap, and frankly i know the outcome. Anyways one day i ask him a favor to borrow his air tools and being manipulative he was like blah blah blah how come you wont race me. I said fine and late at night after a pool game we went. We were on this deserted street under a bridge stopped at a light. Now my Tpms light has been on for a while and i knew it was the rear. The temperature was around 40 ish degree's. Up ahead is a nice "r" curve, and I was on the left lane he was on the right. I turned off VDC thenlight turn green and i gunned it but no traction (not good i knew my tires need warming up). Approaching the cruve i shifted into second (I knew i was not gonna grab traction, but it all happen so fast) and i lost control. To the left of me was the median, to the right my friend in his TSX. My back was wagging violently like no other. All this time this is happening my friend wasn't stopping. Freaking AhA he was still trying to race me while i tried to control this fishtailing. But yeah during that moment i was contemplating... Ok which to hit, friend TSX or median, haha scary as **** then but kind of funny now. kind of.. Be safe guys in NFS, this is my stupidest thing.

 

After reading this thread I understand why collision insurance costs so much on my new G35!

 

1- Let's see a few weeks ago, slight grind shifting 1-2nd gear. First time ever doing that with the G. Didn't engage the clutch all the way.

2-Also forgetting sometimes to turn off VDC when doing hard accelerations and having VDC engage and getting a quick whip lash.

3-Lastly having sexy time in the back seat with a chick I was recently dating. Knowing there wasn't enough room, still did it and wasn't as exciting as I thought it would be. lol

 

Guy with the valet problems and everyone else. I am a valet and we all love our jobs. Pretty much we all are car guys and love fu**ing around in other peoples car on their tires. I will never ever ever valet a car again after seeing what goes on. Honestly if you care about your G at all like i do, dont do it! Also if something like that happens when you valet, get a manager or supervisor BEFORE you leave. Insurance will get you. Ive actually backed a hummer on dubs into a new MB on dubs and fu**ed em both up. The guys both came out drunk and didnt notice and im sure they will be sad in the morning! Check your sh*t.

 

From the Chickwith the valet problems. Thanks for the heads up...a day late and dollar short. I actually used to work for that same valet co-my 1st job outta HS, some 9 yrs ago. I guess I just had more respect for OPP. I am not parking there anymore. And the manager was a hamburger short of a happy meal. She had actually TOTALLED a MB the week before (I found out after I left). Prob solved. No one drives it but me, lol. Thanks for the heads up tho. Wish I woulda known Pre-road rash.

 

i have read this before on this thread but just thought i would give my experience...
on halloween, i was following someone (stupid, i know, just get directions, i get it) and they made a left turn out of a neighborhood and stopped for a moment in the middle yellow lane and then got over. I waited to turn and made a safe turn into the middle yellow lane. Thats when i realized that I didnt know where the people i was following went, so i checked my mirrors, got over, and realized i did not have enough room (meaning, the guy in the through lane was coming up quickly) so i floored it and, thinking i was in tiptronic (i have AT) i hit the shifter up RIGHT INTO NEUTRAL!! The revs went WAY over readline and I immediately realized what i did and hit it back into drive. The car has been driving fine but I just want to know if it could cause problems later on?

 

Well...

1st- i was driving the G home from somewhere on this road i thought was straight but ended up having a curve in it... well it was cold outside so i lean over to adjust the temperature (on the other side of the controlls) and wasnt paying attention for bout 2seconds and i loud noise and a scrape lol. It was my stock wheels and i curb rashed the front left wheel pretty bad and had a couple scratches in my bumper.

2nd- was with my girlfiend and we are driving down this road when i see a 350z and he was goin bout 60 in a 45 swerving in between traffic, so i decided to join him so me and him are just swerving inbetween traffic and i cut this person off pretty bad. bout a minute later i was done folling him and i hear this BANG from the passanger window where my girlfriend was, the jackass who i cut off threw something at my car which i dont know still what is was today but it sounded really loud. anyways i am pissed so i was following the dude and he pulled into some gas station and he got out of his car i got out of mine and we were just cussing at eacher blah blah blah and then the guy who was about 40 said you shouldnt be driving that nice of a car anyways you need to give it back to daddy. ( i was 16 at the time) i was bout to pop this guy lol then some old lady bout 55 pulls in and was like i already called the cops on your reckless driving and stuff. well i just ended up leaving and had some one else drive me around the rest of the night cause i think i had enough

 

1. installed headers.
2. parked to close to the column in my parking spot and it didn't ding it, but it let paint marks on the front corner.
3. drive to aggressively at Willow Springs (big track) and took turn 3 too hard and spun into the wall. scraped nearly the whole left side of my G. it is NOT Gran Turismo out there. learn the course and the car before you really put the pedal to the metal.

 

purchase chrome door handles. (never installed) lol
