The phone needs to be litterally, bolted down onto the car, or at least secured very very well so it doesn't move.

Mathematically, it is fairly accurate. Inaccuracies are introduced when it's not perfectly in unison with the car

Put in the sliding part of the center console and then close the sliding part to "clamp" the iPhone....that will do a lot btter than having it just sitting there.

They said it works on iPod touch as well...how does this involve with GPS ? Any idea on iPod touch?

It doesn't use GPS. Hense why the iPod touch and original iPhones can use it. It on'y uses the accelerometer in them. (Same thing that makes the screen turn when phone is turned) It's pretty damn sensitive.

I still havn't found a good place to try it out. No tracks with 3 hours

I did a sitting still run with me just angeling the phone different and I got my mom's eclipse to have 1084 FWHP...HAHA and a 10.08 ET @ 134 HAHAHA

online, i believe the coupe is 3490 and sedan is 3350. Im not sure though so look it up. Also remember to add in your own weight.

I tried it on a side road and it seems pretty accurate. I was kind of afraid of cops so I couldnt take my time with it. But its great for a $13 toy. Here is a video you guys might want to check out. They test the iphone vs. g-tech vs. actual track time. It was off by almost nothing. Here is the link

Yeah but with options/aftermarket parts I'm not sure how close that is, If i can find a truck scale or a scrap yard that would be awesome so I can get it as accurate as possible.
