The body shop I went to has got a lot of reviews on citysearch which is why I picked it and it was recommend to me by at least 2 BMW owners. The 2007 Antifreeze green twin turbo 350z in Atlanta was also going to have that shop work on their car but the widebody project was too big of a project for the shop.

So i guess this is the right color? Did it match correctly?
Some here were saying that you shouldnt have "accepted" the sample and that it might still be off and since you sign off on it you are stuck.... Not true, if you have the sample and it happens to be off from the sample you picked then they HAVE to re-spray because its not what you approved. Since it IS going to be a bit off then its just your choice of how many times you would like them to re-spray.

It's a good shop, I've seen a lot of the cars they've done, and the work has been solid. The guy that used to do all my paintwork had a shop that looked even worse than that one. But he really knew how to paint. You can't judge a book by it's cover. I've seen some really, really bad work come out of some shops that looked great and had the newest equipment but no skills.

Its about being more professional and getting the color in your bumper the FIRST time around. How many greys does Infiniti have?

From the back it a real close match. From the side it still looks off, but it's somewhat the same way on my DG. Depends on how the light hits it and seems there's always a difference between paint on metal compared to on poly with DG...primer is primer, paint is paint, clearcoat is clearcoat...weird.
Had no idea there were two shades of factory DG from reading this thread. Good to know...thanx.
Glad you got it all worked out and finally back on.
