Whenever i switch gears from 1st to 2nd or 3rd to 4th there seems to be a small rattling sound that occurs but disappears as i reach higher rpms

actually it also rattles when start driving off on first gear

the noise seems to go away after a good ten minutes of driving, i thought it was because the car needed to warm up but it would make the same sound even when i get in just ten minutes after i stop the engine and start it again.

any ideas i tried searching but nothing really matched my symptoms

I feel you pain with the embarrassing noises. I don't think there is anything you can do about it though.

Sounds gearbox related - 1st and 3rd occupy the same shaft and 2nd and 4th another shaft, from what I remember.

ill take it the dealer and use my warranty
