Ok, I've looked for an answer on here...What is the DS mode, and how do I get in to it?

Thanks guys...

Is stands for sport or second mode. It has two modes, Auto or Manual. You can just move the shift lever to the left and if you just leave it there, you wont need to shift; the trans with shift gears at higher rpm's for more power; or you can tap up/down to manually shift.

It also depends on what year X he has b.c my 05 does not have that. I think it is an 07+ thing only.

I'm glad I spent some time reading this today. I have had my car for about 2k miles, but hadn't realized this either.

Man, was that one fun drive home from work today in DS! In fact, it was so much fun that I had to take a spirited joy-drive tonight! Im stoked. Thanks!

I didn't know if this, like my 2004 Vette which when you hold the traction button it put the car in Competitive driving mode.

Ok then yeah as said before when you put the car in D and then move it to go into manual mode it will go to DS mode first and stay there unless you manually shift. It basically just holds the gears longer then regular D. If you do any kind of +/- in that position it will go into manual instead of DS and you need to go back to D first if you want to go back to DS mode .

Yeah, when you push it over from D it should automatically go to DS until you move the lever to +/- a gear. It will say DS on the dash as well.
