Body Kit Paint Options

Ok guys here is where I stand:
'07 OB Coupe

and here is what I bought:
Nismo style Front
Kenstyle Replica Rear
Kenstyle Replica Sides

Now for painting:
I was thinking about doing the nismo front in body color with the inserts in flat black along with the mesh as flat black (see pictures below, the parts that are black, I would like to have stand out from the black car by doing them in flat black)

To complement this, I want to have my grille done in flat black (leaving Mt. Fuji chrome to stand out).

Then for the rear, to tie it together I want to do basically the same thing, paint the insert flat black so it stands out from the rest of the bumper. (pics below).

What do you guys think? Do the flat black combo or just do the whole thing body color?

i think u should highly consider getting a more aggressive front bumper if you are going with kenstyle side and rear, your car will not flow well at all

i think your better off w/ a satin finish. its kinda of a matte finish i think? its easier to maintain. flat black looks good when first painted but over time it will suck. had my honda before painted flat black(lip) and its a PITA to maintain

Yea, Kenstyle back = Aggressive, Nismo front = Docile... But that's just my opinion.

Aren't the kit pieces already primed with flat black? Paint everything but the parts you want to stay flat, then decide if you should gloss them over or put matte black paint on.

I just want to get it all taken care of at once, if I can go in and tell the painter what to do without having to come by and decide if i like it or not, I should get the car back quicker. It is my daily driver so I will be renting a car for a week in order to get this painted. I am sure I will be happy no matter the paint choices, just trying to get some opinions. Not sure that it will stand out a lot, but it might be noticable to those of us that care

that front bumper would look sick with those parts painted flat black. Not feeling the rear bumper, but thats just me.

I didnt mean to come off like an *** if i did, it will look great regardless just not my taste. But with what you want to do satin will still keep that classy style to the nismo front, but i still think it would look better with some ings skirts and a CS rear

I thought about the CS rear, but just feel that it doesn't make much of a statement. Basically, what I want is that when someone that knows nothing about the G sees my car, I want them to know it was modified. I don't feel that even the Nismo front does this (but wasn't feeling the Kenstyle front). Plan was to get Impul sides, but kenstyle was all that was instock from this particular seller and I didn't fee like waiting. Pluse, I thought 3 different kits put together might look tooooo busy, so I went with ken sides and rear. Anyhow, thanks again, and I didn't take it personally, just letting you know where I stand! I think I will go with the satin finnish on the inlets.

You guys know where I can locally pick up some of the mesh? The front bumper came with some mesh, but the kenstyle rear didn't. I want to make sure the mesh matches front and back and also would like to have it put on and painted at the same time as the parts.

Thanks!

Great kit combo The chargespeed rear is about the most boring rear bumper ever put on a G, I could add bumper stickers to a stock rear and make it more exciting.... Best of luck with your install issues though.
