Thumbs down

OK well still haven't received it. Their website still shows "pending" on my order.

sent multiple emails, tried PM'ing him from here. No responses.

My only recourse at this point is to do a charge back with my credit card provider in the morning.

Buyer beware with this vendor.

I've received my shift boot and the material is fantastic.

But I'm having several issues with the installation. For one, not all slits/holes were made in the boot so I had to carve and poke a couple.

Second, after attaching the boot to the titanium trim, I can't seem to snap it onto the console.

My guess is because the leather is much thicker than the stock one. (See Picture)

Boot attached to shift ring

Notice the rectangular clips, no matter how much I push down it simply wont clip in.

Anyone else have this issue? This is for an 03 6mt

I had to make custom holes on my boot as well. but the 05+ interior is a lot different from what shown in your pictures. For my installation, I had to cut the outer portion of the boot facing each rectangle clip.

Sorry for the bad quality, dont have photoshop at work. I cut out on the red line next to each clip. Again I'm not sure if this will work on your car. My rectangle clips didnt need to go through a hole like that (if i remember correctly)

Wow that looks great. If the material is as good as you guys claim, its well worth the $30. I gotta have that now.
I think ill wait until Encore and Devil Dog recieve thiers first. Keep us updated on your orders guys.

I ended up getting the clips in but it was a VERY tight fit.

I used a pair of pliers wrapped in a towel to not damage the finish. Squeezed together and got them on. I wasn't able to get one of the clips in but with the other 4, the ring sits flat.

Will post pictures soon.

As promised, here is a pic of the boot installed. I just need to replace the horrendous looking shifter.

Possibly a NISMO Titanium ****.

Uhhh, I just cleaned it before I took the picture.

The **** looks dirty because its completely worn down. Leather has chipped/worn off.
