TPMS (tire pressure monitoring system)

I bought 4 Blizzaks from Tire Rack that came mounted on aftermarket rims. The rims aren't equipped with TPMS sensors. Other than not receiving data if my tire pressure drops, am I risking anything else by running rims that don't have TPMS sensors? Thanks

I thought that the TPMS sensors were transferable.

No problem, many of us run our wheels like that.

You could just have an installer remove one bead of the tire and swap out the TPMS sensors for the valve stems in your new wheels/tires. Quick and easy.

Aren't Blizzaks winter tires that you guys need to run when that stuff called snow is on the highways? You could just transfer your sensors to the winter tires or put up with the dash warning light for a few months. Make sure you monitor the tire pressure yourself since without the sensors you won't have a back up....

you can run without the TMPS sensors without any problems. The light will come on after about 30-45 minutes of continuous driving. And the light will reset after you restart the car.
