What year? Seems too small. Stock size on sedans from 03-06 was 215/55/17. I got 235/50/17 as a replacement. Which was the closest match. If these are dedicated snow tires that you are planning to swap on/off I would stick with the narrower stock size. Use this tool: Tire Size Calc

NG, too small, go bigger. Sound like a honda size. Our cars have a decent amount of meat around the wheels.

For winter tires, if you are serious about traction, you want to go narrower and smaller, not wider and larger.

I run 225/55/17 all the way around on my coupe with no problems at all.
They have a pretty tall sidewall, and the diameter size is only a 1% difference on the rear compared to my OEM 18"s

i find (from experience), that the width of the snow tires vs performance depends on the kind of snow you're expecting to see, wider tires will tend to plow in deep snow, where as narrow tires will tend to cut through more easily, though wider tires will tend to act more as paddle wheels and the longer "edge" means more snow gripped, best use: packed snow on ice, where you're counting on the snow not moving to get you moving... i guess it depends on what you think you'll see more of.
