It's already messed up and needs repainting.

If you are ME you get a warning with a gun at least once in a while. That's not a joke.

all i gotta say is u drive a friggin 5 year old sedan bro. its like a 17,000$ car, STOCK exterior besides a nismo bumper, and u go and tape the crap out of it, get a clear bra. And the only reason ppl probably shoot at u, is because of how redic u look driving that thing down the freeway

I dont tape my front end when i go on trips. It already has an assload of rockchips from the previous owner.

So is a clear bra enough for a road trip from nor cal to so cal? Seems so annoying to tape up the entire front end...not to mention it looks ugly as hell especially with that blue tape. I have yet to do a road trip in my OB g35 coupe but does the smashed bugs have a hard time coming off. Does it permanently ruin the paint? Why not just wash your car thoroughly after the road trip?

When I'll repaint the front bumper again it will be cover in blue tape all the time. I taped it up because the grill and hood are in good condition, the sides are and the rear is freshly painted.

This is a pic of how and why blue tape works. Imagine the rocks and sand that hit the side skirts going down the freeway at 90mph for 3 hours.

I agree, I always have a good laugh when I see this. Cripes, it's not a show car for crying out loud. A 3m full bumper wrap does a great job. Heck a few thousand mile ytip is nothing.
My cars still look immaculate on the front end and I go for long trips (few thousand miles) a few times a year, One of the reasons I bought the car was it's good looks, why make it ugly .
