IS350 is not quite as sporty but a better overall car. Enjoy your new roof though, although since it seems like you are a sporty kind of driver, save some cash and slap a turbo or two on that bitch.

i don't really see it as a straight comparison between the is350 and the g35. Especially when you have a G coupe... if it was a sedan vs sedan it'll be different... Before I bought my G coupe, I test drove the IS250 awd mainly because I do a lot of snowboarding for this time of the year... and Lexus makes very nice luxury cars!

I think if you were seriously considering the Lexus, you would be buying for either the service or for the luxury of the vehicle.... Personally I think other than lexus, Mbenz has really good luxury and service... just for my own experience...

Is350 is not rare at all. You see tons of Is250 and Is350 on the street.

Good point, no manual trans option. Stick with the G coupe.

The is350 is hella fast..

....but i noticed the is350 has a **** load of recalls for minor stuff , minor oil leaks, would **** me off if I owned it....and the auto trans is a good trans, shifts just as fast as a manual but no were near as fun...
Plus it doesnt have LSD for those who like to kick the rear sideways once in a while.

is350s are rare, if i do one see its a 250's with no mods at all.

IMO the G35 coupe has more sex apeal styling, especialy with some nice rims and a drop .... Looks much better...

I've owned both cars, I came from an 06 is350 to an 06 6mt g35. All in all both cars are great and have different perks. The IS has a lot more cool gadgets and toys + more power and the g35 is a little funner to drive with a manuel tranny. Comparing both cars the IS has seat coolers and warmer g35 only warmer. The IS has a easier to use touch screen navigation + cd player g35 has a lame joystick. The IS has reverse camera + tilt mirrors g35 none.

You do get what you pay for and the IS is more expensive. The IS is a fast luxury car vs. the g35 being more of a sports car. If I had the extra money I would have kept the IS350 you can alway improve handling. It took me a while to adjust the luxury feel for the sports feel. Don't get me wrong I do love the g35 but I did feel the down grade. My 2 cents.

However you can put a NICER touch-screen, back up cam, and tilt mirrors, all custom fit to you, for about 1,500 for the whole thing and installation.

Sucks we don't have seat coolers, but at least for me, that's not that big of a deal.

IMO, the new IS looks to similar to a Camry, but that's subjective!

Well the Is350 has a toyota plastic looking interior, and has no manual. Btw Ditch both cars and get the G37 faster then both cars. That 7spd really maid a diff. 0-60 in 5.0flat. Or just turbo your G35 don't supercharge, and get a good tune.

Gentlemen and Ladies keep in mind our G35 and now the 37 has always been put up against the BMW over the years now. Not bad for a nissan now lets see toyota say that. And if you have to compare make the IS350 VS G37 not the 35. Keep the G or get the 37. Heck i went from a 325 to my coupe the only ill change is if its a 37 or 370z or M3..............or a R34 GTR maybe a Hachiroku

Umm the new G37 Sedan with the 7spd is faster then the IS350 in both 0-60 and 1/4. MY freind Drag raced a IS350 and got a high 12's just he got a sec faster on the IS350.
