Nope the is350 is slower then both. The 335i has a .01 0-60 time on the G37. My freind raced a IS350, with this 335i and beat it buy 2 cars. And thier is also a story on bmw website a guy with his 335i and his freind's wit the G37 and Is350 races and the Is350 was slowest out of both. And he also said he would get the G37 of the line, but then the G37 would speed up and pass him a little, he thought it was modded but it wasn't haa.

Hear are some honest opinions. The IS may be a little quicker in a straight line, but unless your racing someone, you can't tell. I have driven a 04 g35 coupe and 07 g35 sedan and they actually feel faster because you can hear them, this IS is very quiet. The handeling is not as bad as people think on the IS, but the G is better. You can feel the road better in the G The IS is a little isolated, but for some that is a plus , not a minus. The sport shifters are much better in the G. I never use them in the IS because they are worthless. The interior goes to the IS, but not by much (it is a little cramped). Of course this is my opinion and not a big deal, they are both nice as long as were talking about the newer G's interior.
I think you are smart for keeping your car, but you can get a great deal on a 08 G35 right now.

Thanks for the feedback guys! I'm definitely keeping the G35, here is an updated pic:
G35 has the sex appeal, the handling, the looks, the 6-speed transmission, the FACTORY HID's (which do not come standard on the IS series), aggressive Porsche looking stance, etc.
And not to mention some of the common reviews of the car say "engine needs to sound and drive like a 300 horsepower car." Just couldn't justify it.

Porsche looking stance meaning the wider more aggressive stance of the G35 compared to the IS350, maybe you didn't see the name of the thread? G35 obviously has more of a Porsche stance (wider body / sits lower) than the IS350 sedan. And I didn't say the G35 sat like the Porsche Carrera GT, lol. I was listing the pros of the G35 vs. the IS350, and one of the pros is a wider more Porsche looking stance. Maybe wider more aggressive SPORTS CAR looking stance would be more appropriate?
As you can see the G35 and Porsche 911 both sit a bit lower, wider body, more aggressive wheels, etc. Going from a 2003 Acura CL to the 2006 G35 coupe the biggest things I noticed were how much WIDER the car was sitting parked side by side, and after throwing on some spacers how much more of an AGGRESSIVE overall stance the car has.

I don't know how the 350's are but I also have an '07 IS250 in addition to my '06 G35x sedan.
I actually like the IS. It handled VERY well, the interior is solid and rattle free and overall the quality is much better then Infiniti's in terms of fit and finish.
Unfortunately it's slow as crap but i needed the AWD version for my g/f.
Anyway unsure how the 350 compares but i find it ironic how people were saying how poor it handles. Everytime i get in my IS250 i remake about how well it handles...and i've driven and autoXed many different makes so i've had some expeirence with other vehicles.
Plus i get more "pimp" factory when i drive the IS. WHen i show up to see friends i haven't seen in a while in the G35, they say "nice car". When i show up in the Lexus, they ask what i do for work
Anyway, would i sell a G35 for an IS350?? If it's anything like the 250...yes.
