Location plays a huge role in what you are going to pay for insurance. If i moved 1 town further away from Boston ,my rates would drop significantly. There are a ton of factors that go into what you are going to pay.

$3300 year is rediculous. I never paid anything near that and i drove sports cars growing up.

Try getting 4 or 5 different quotes. Perhaps drop some of the coverages a little. Is the car financed? If not, perhaps look into liability only. Unfotunately, the type of car plus your age will make for pretty high rates. Good luck...

Oh...and by the way, since you asked....I'm 33, married, and pay $850 per year for full coverage on the G sedan and our 2005 Pathfinder combined. It pays to be old, married, and have a clean record. Too bad it takes forever to get there...

Your age, and that car are going to be huge factors. Can't really get around them. Get a cheaper/less sporty car, or get ready to pay. At 17, you're not even an adult yet, so it's going to cost a LOT.

I'm 21 and pay $111.25 a month with 100/300/100 and a $250 deductible. Not only that my driving record is not what we like to call clean. I would definately shop around man!

Wow, $3300 is a lot. That's more than my home insurance.
