I plan to do 5% all around + a 8 inch strip on the windshield this Friday =D

 

20 all the way around.......except the front of course........also got 20 on my maxima and my mom got pulled over in it. She said the cop yelled at her and said "i know this isnt your car!!!!" lmao !!!! Mom luvs the tint tho and really it is her car just in my name........ Ha ha va police u all suck

 

16% Back 26% Front

 

5% in back and 15% on side windows. I definetly couldn't imagine going any darker on the side windows when it comes to seeing the road/other cars at night.

 

FYI, Factory tint is about 78%. I own a meter and tossed it on before getting my windows done.

So when you toss 20% film on top of 78% tint, you get about 15% on the meter.

(.20 x .78 = .156 = 15.6%)

Just a FYI if you are trying to stay above a certain % limit to meet legal requirements.

 

18% all around. Measures at 13% on the meter. IMO it's perfect looks wise. It's a little tough to see out of at night. I will probably go with something a little lighter if/when I have to re-tint for inspection.

 

20% in the back and 50% up front

 

I work with a guy who's about 60 years old (and looks 70). He's got a black Acura EL with 15% tint all around because he can't stand headlight glare at night. He's been pulled over a few times (probably because the front window can't be tinted that dark here) and the cop assumes he's driving his grandkid's car and he just plays along saying he had to borrow the car because he can't afford repairs on his car. The cops let him go every time

Then he comes into work and says "****ing cops, why can't they find something better to do?"

I think I've got 20% tint on the back and rear side and something like 35% on the front. It was put on by the previous owner so I can't tell for sure. It's plenty dark enough and headlight glare from behind me doesn't bug me at all, which it always does in other cars. I get much worse glare in my wife's van and those windows are quite black. I wouldn't go any darker than what I've got due to night vision concerns.
